About The Anchorage to Whittier Guided Tour

Turn your transfer into an adventure.
If you’re cruising out of Whittier, make the journey from Anchorage an unforgettable part of your Alaskan story. This small-group tour blends stunning scenery, wildlife encounters, and glacier views into one seamless experience — all before we deliver you to your cruise ship with plenty of time to board. Travel in comfort aboard a luxury SUV or Sprinter van, guided by a local Alaskan who knows the land and loves to share it.

Your day begins with pickup at your Anchorage hotel, the airport, or another location of your choice, followed by a scenic drive along the breathtaking Turnagain Arm — one of the most beautiful stretches of highway in North America. We'll make a stop at Beluga Point, where you may spot Dall sheep high on the cliffs or, in the right season, beluga whales gliding through the water below. Next, we’ll visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a 250-acre sanctuary where rescued bears, moose, bison, and other iconic animals roam natural enclosures. This up-close experience is a guest favorite and the perfect way to safely see Alaska’s wildest residents.

OUR GUESTS SAY IT BEST!

"James, our driver/tour guide made our trip exceptional! He is incredibly knowledgeable about Anchorage, everything on our tour, and Alaska in general. He made our trip truly memorable. We were picked up at our hotel promptly and stopped first at the Ulu factory. There is stunning scenery everywhere: sites around Anchorage, the murals, the Turnagain Arm, Beluga Point, Portage Valley. We couldn't see the glaciers very well because they were covered with recent snow. We had an excellent lunch in Girdwood and enjoyed seeing the animals at the Wildlife Conservation Center. Unfortunately, the ground was very wet and muddy so walking around the center was not ideal. I especially enjoyed seeing the musk ox and wolves. All in all, the perfect way to explore the Anchorage area."

Girdwood to Whittier

After soaking in the alpine beauty, we’ll stop in Girdwood, a cozy mountain town where you’ll have time for an optional lunch (meal not included) at one of our favorite local cafés.
