An Authentic Alaska Adventure — Personalized Just for You

Experience Alaska like a local, not a tourist.
Our VIP Dog Sledding and Animal Encounters Tour invites you to connect deeply with Alaska’s wild beauty, its animals, and the people who call it home. From private pick-up to the last sip of cocoa, every detail is curated for comfort, storytelling, and adventure.

What You’ll Experience

🚐 VIP Pickup and Drop-Off
Relax while we handle the logistics. We’ll pick you up directly from your Anchorage lodging and escort you through an unforgettable day of connection, culture, and fun.

🦌 Up Close with Alaska’s Wildlife
Hand-feed reindeer, moose, and alpacas at a local family farm, or visit the iconic Musk Ox Farm in Palmer. This isn’t a zoo — it’s an immersive encounter with Alaska’s animals and the people who care for them.

🐾 Dog Sledding Adventure of a Lifetime
Once you arrive at the dog sled camp, we’ll outfit you in warm winter gear and gather around the campfire for authentic Iditarod tales from seasoned mushers.
You’ll meet the incredible sled dogs — many of them race veterans — before heading onto the trail. Choose your style:

  • Ride comfortably in a custom-made sled

  • Or take the reins and help your guide drive the team!

Afterward, warm up with hot chocolate and a fresh-baked cookie as you soak in the wonder of what you’ve just experienced.

Tour Highlights & Itinerary

Anchorage City Highlights

Anchorage is a great place to start your interactive guided exploration. Historic Downtown is a must followed by a short drive to the Anchorage Railroad Depot where we will stop at the Ulu Factory and/or the Ship Creek salmon stream.

Earthquake Park

Your local Alaskan guide then transports you to Earthquake Park and Lake Hood Floatplane Base, which is our nation’s most active lake aerodrome.

Our next stop is Beluga Point which is just south of the city on the Turnagain arm. This destination features incredible Alaskan vistas and wildlife viewing. Dall Sheep and Alaskan Mountain Goats are often visible on the rocky crags of the Chugach mountains. Migrating Beluga Whales can be seen plying through the fjord waters.

Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center

This is your guaranteed, up-close opportunity to see bears, elk, moose, and many other Alaskan animals.

Portage Valley Glacier Viewing

This stop is one of our highlights! There are multiple hanging glaciers within Portage Valley. You will have the opportunity to take a self-guided walk to get a close view of multiple glaciers (Please note opportunity for the walk is seasonal.) Generally, from May to October. November-April we will still be able to view hanging glaciers in Portage Valley and we add the Whittier Tunnel Excursion for our winter guests.

Girdwood

The last stop is Girdwood, where there's an optional lunch stop at our favorite local Alaskan cafe.

Turnagain Arm
